Ok there is a TON of talk on here about the Mojo and how to set it up for surfing but nothing for those of us who primarily wakeboard. We need some good info on this boat, like how sensitive is it with side to side weight placement compared to the LSV. How fast do you have to go to get it to clean up empty and weighted. How is it with stock ballast, double stock ballast? Is it steep like a 210 or rampy like an Axis. We need info!

Good point. I am going to bet it is not nearly as sensitive to side to side as the LSV. Just the overall stability-- hard to make it lean very far even with surf weighting. Bet it's an excellent wakeboard wake.

yeah, Levi (501) posted that they had great responses from competitive riders after towing them behind gsepi's Mojo. search for that. Also, the boys from Diamond Lakes came on the board and posted about how great they thought it was. I believe it's the boat they use for their team riders.
I don't have much video from the wakeboard wake from last season as we focused on surfing, but it was a very nice wake.

Diamond Lakes Mojo is good but not stock ballast setup. They had bags done that are similar to Wolfe's setup going up to the batteries but on both sides of the boat. The wake is big and is also steep. If I remember correctly we liked the wakeplate at about 1/4 up keeping the nose pushed down to keep from porpoising (sp??) . Its much better than the LSV in regards to effects of side to side differences.
My buddy's 2013 showed up Friday and we will start working on it soon so we will have some new info on the ballast setup for it. I think right now his plans are stock + 750 at back seat and 1000 triangle sac up front.

This video got real blurry when uploaded but it's of the Mojo. It at least shows the rider pulling from the far side and it not affecting the opposite wake too much.
I think it's going to be a lot like the SA with Supra, should be a lot less finicky.

I'd suggest he go right up to the 1,100's. They fit in there no problem. The 650 IBS hides under the seat nice and leaves the bow open for riders. If he feels that he needs more weight up front. he could always use a few of the small sumo blocks to toss around as needed.

Last weekend stock ballast full with 4 people in boat @22.7 wakeplate all down at 70ft was good. Wasn't a big wake but was clean. So cold out he didnt want to fall just doing a demo for the marina open house.

stock ballast
Aren't those two words normally used together with "getting rid of" or "upgrading" ??

So David, planning to upgrade to a Mojo? lots of questions about the wake from you.
I helped put almost 100 hours on my Gisepi's last summer. The boat was problem free and always a blast. The boat doesn't need a lot of weight to make a nice steep wake. It has a lot of straight up pop, really fun. It's also fairly narrow so going wake to wake is pretty easy and blasting into the flats is pretty effortless. We did find that the because it has a steeper/lippy wake (different from the SA which is supposed to be a little more mellow I've read), the more bow weight the better. With only the stock front ballast and 1100's in the rear it would sometimes wash over if the boat wasn't balanced, but thats pretty common for most boats with a weight setup like that. More front weight helped a lot.
Compared to the LSV I found the wake bigger, steeper and it had more pop, but I don't know if I would say it was less sensitive when weighted, probably close to the same. Also with full ballast, 65ft and going 20, it will be touch and go to have a totally clean wake on both sides. Usually boats with a more mellow wake excel in this area. Definitley try this during your demo if it's important to you.
I don't have any good videos of it but the wake is the best moomba wake I have ridden yet. I keep bugging Gisepi that this summer we are goona throw 1-2k in the bow and really put her to the test.

Just stumbled across this in my email. You can get a few wb wake glimpses in the vid. And the first "official looking" surf vid I've seen...

Ha! Not anytime soon, I just spent all my money on a house. By the time I am able to upgrade who knows what my options will be but IF I were to upgrade now it would probably be a Mojo

Note to self. 14 people in a mojo with ballast full, an 800lb bow sac, and a 500lb in the floor produces a wake that requires you go about 25.5 to get clean. We ended up emptying the stock ballast, using the floor sacs as seats and running 23.2. Oh well..... Overall a fun day and everybody got to wakeboard.17069

David,
Ill get you some pics this weekend. Me and Andrew are supposed to hit the water Saturday. I do have the 1100 in the back and stock in the front. I normally have about 8 people in the boat. Last summer is was killer at 75ft, loaded and 23 mph. Ill get you some pics.
Now that the picture posting is working, I can post some pics of gisepi's wake. All shots are with 1100's in the rear, stock front tank and about 350 in lead, speed was 22.2 Wake has POP.

Those wakes look narrow big time! everytime you hit that Levi you have to land in the flats haha
Ya, the Mojo wake is narrow, that's for sure. I rarely land W2W. I notice a big diff when I got to my X-30 width wise. W2W on the Mojo is effortless.
As for the lead, its ALL in the nose. The more nose weight the better. And we have never taken water of the bow yet. I think for wakeboarding, 2K up front would be amazing. We have plans to try some more bags up front when we have a day on the boat without wives and kids.
