Building my own LED Speaker Rings for Exile SX65-M

After going back and forth with POLK, JL and exile. I've settled with SX65-M and thanks to Supra, Moomba and Malibu forum members. I'm still waiting on my Cabin speakers and Led Strip Lights. But here's the picture of Acrylic Speaker Rings.

I took the pix in hurry since my dad just dropped the rings after he got it done for me.

Nice rings. looks like those where laser cut or cut with a CNC.
I noticed this to be your first post ever on three different forums.
Since you happen to mention two other brands, I'm curious as to whether you ever actually listened to the Polk MM UMs or the JL Audio MXs before making your decision?
Also, how was the speaker decision unanimous per the three mentioned forums when you just joined with no prior discussions?
What kind of boat do you have?
Please post photos when you get the installation finished.

Those should really make your Supra glow like crazy! What color are you going with? As much as like blue, the green boat we did last summer was sick! 8 speakers, a sub ring and 18 cup-holders plus green underwater LEDs and it was over the top.

lol - looks just like Chase's LSV that I did this summer.

My OBV will be similar, but with RGBs - I just finished up soldering all of the strips, and picked up the acrylic this afternoon. Cutting to begin shortly...

How are the led strips attached to the acrylic rings, I can't picture it.

For the cup holders I don't attach the strips to the ring, I attach to the cup holder.

Speaker rings I just use glue to affix the strip to the ring.

I think I'd rather attract those than the water lizards. Are they attracted to light too?

Sorry Guys, I've been really busy with other stuff... My wife wanted a new Pathfinder so we just got ONE yesterday.

David, Yes those are CNC cut since my dad works in the acrylic company.

I don't have supra, moomba or big @$$ boat.. I own SeaDoo but my friend got Supra and that's how I learned about these forums.

He offered me 1/4", 6mm or 9mm.. I went with 9mm and if I don't like it then he's going to cut new one for me LOL..
