We brought a new LSV out to the house to take pictures of how it will fit in a 7' garage. Granted my driveway is sloped but I was surprised based on how my 2010 LSV fits. We had to take the board racks off but no added pressure to push the tower down further.

Looks like you may just need to leave it in there and go sign some papers.

I just found out today that I can put the tower up once my LSV is inside the garage at the new house. Man will that make life easier for things like cleaning, tuning, mods, etc.

Nice tight fit... Mine clears by 1/2" when I change to an 8" drop hitch. I love when friends are watching that haven't seen me back it in before. They start yelling and flailing their arms! :)

Wish someone would have yelled and flailed their arms the time I pulled out with one of the rear locker doors standing open.

plenty of clearence it looks like. quess your tower cable was better adjusted than mine was.

look into those monster tower racks, think you will be happy with them for being easier to remove. Kaneboats will be out with me tomorrow surfing so he can also give some feedback on them

oh, and get some photos of that boat out in the sun-sure is purdy

Is that "THE BOAT" or just one used for a test fit?

Just one for a test fit. Ours starts production on 2/25/13. 16839

We like the red but our 2010 is red and wanted to do something different.

As for the racks I went with factory swivel and am ordering the minter racks just for fun to mess around with. Also considering the fixed racks as it looks like they might not have to be removed at all for the garage.

Our 2008 LSV wouldn't clear our 7 foot door no matter how low the tongue was

Admit it, this makes it so much easier to sit in the boat and have a beer and daydream about surfing LOL

seems to be a lot of variance there. I have a 7ft door and it's actually 6ft10in to the rubber seal. last house was 9ft and they were a true 9ft from concrete to header.

if I have to deal with this garage for another year, going to "shave" 2" off the top framing to get a true 7ft. it's too close right now.

I actually like to go out there and put on some tunes and have a coupla cold ones and do some detail cleaning every now and then. It will be way easier with the tower up.

My 2010 won't fit either, off by about 3 inches.

'10 LSV,Tandem, factory 14' rims. I use a floor jack and a lower hitch ball just to get my in and out....It takes about 15 min to get it and hooked road ready. My garage height is 83.5" with a downward apron to the door. It rubs the rubber seal but it fits.

How much room do you need deep. I have an 08 but a pretty small garage. I can get it under the garage door I'm sure but even with the swing away tongue on the trailer i'm not sure i have enough room deep. I would love to get a head start on some of these projects and have the boat at the house, but I'm not aloud to have it in the driveway according to the HOA.

our new garage is going to be 20' 10.5" deep and 21' 6" wide. I know there is no way it will fit normal but would it squeeze in at an angle??

I am not a geometry guru but I think you have a chance.

You may want to get some go jacks to help swing it around.
