Well as much fun as last year's Jam was - I'm a no show tomorrow. Dammit Dammit Dammit.:mad:

Last weekend before moving my oldest out of state for 1st year of college & just wasn't able to clear enough commitments in time (sometimes it sucks being a responsible parent). I know ya'll will have a blast! (& save me my L shirt if you can, the other 3 are up for grabs)

We love the facility, but I get to hang out in my parents RV. I have stayed in the cabins before and they are fine. Clean and cold A/Cs. That and the awesome Trinity river, throw in a 100 of your closest friends and you couldn't ask for much more.

We were there last year too and don't plan on missing this event ever. David and Cody do a great job putting it together.

Bethy is a cool place, Laid back, always clena and just a relaxed place. We have been going there for years. I have pics to load on my home PC tionight and ill be posting up some. Great time for sure. Cant wait till next year,

Ok... my turn. The room was simple but super clean and frankley better than I expected. We rolled in Thurdsday evening and were quite comfortable till we left Sunday morning. The only thing I was unhappy with was the rock I drunkenly stubbeb my toe on Friday night after Bryan, Ryan, and Mike patted me on the a$$ and sent me back to my room. Oh yea, I took their key by mistake...so, getting into my room was quite a challenge :) . I really enjoyed all the cool people and making new friends. Thanks again to David, Cody, Heidi, and all those that put this thing on!!!

Nope... found a few more. Kitty LOVED the smooth water and skiied an average of 4 mph faster than she normally does. I was actually able to achieve about 1 inch or so of air!

We had an absolute blast. Love the facility with the ramp being the only complaint.

I was not told anything about the ramp last year. The ramp won and cost me $5k for a new trailer. Well I guess it didn't do all the damage but it made it easier to convince the wife that we needed a new trailer :) Upgrade!! Now that I do have a new trailer out of the deal I am extremely careful when launching at Bethy. I wish they would fix that thing, I would even pay more to launch if they did.

I spent the whole day today making up for the time I missed last Friday and it was so worth it. Most of the day I spent wishing I was out on that water. It sucks to know it will be a year before Jill & I get to see something like that again.

From the glass like water, the late night cops & resulting late night retrieval, meeting great people and making new friends. The only regret I had was letting David serve me fire water. I don't remember much after that :-), and I'm not sure how I was out boarding Sunday morning by 8.

We've been looking forward to next year since we got in the truck to come home.

We hope everyone had a good time! Please let us know your opinions, what you would like to be different, etc so we can maybe make some changes - if any - in the future. We know the water was a little low for the event but lets pray for more rain next year so the cut is deeper and the ramp is better.

Since I am one of the main organizers it gets planned around my work schedule and that is usually different every year and I don't get vacation. The last two years it actually happened to be about the same weekend but we are hoping to have it a little earlier in the year next year to avoid low water levels. Problem is August always seems to win due to there being no other holidays in August.

Thank you for your hard work at putting this together, it takes alot of effort to keep things like this alive and well worth it, if it wasnt for your work we wouldnt get all these awesome boats/people together for an event. This was my first and with all the issues i had this weekend (windshield and A/C) we still had a great time and can not wait for next year. I hope you guys can keep this together for many years to come and if help is ever needed please ask!!

Water levels are low. I now have the end of 1 blade on the prop that is a bit bent. I'll see when I get back out tomorrow how performance degrading it is. I was already going to buy a 1617 this off season, this might have just pushed up that timeline. Once I do that, I'll send this one off to Nettles

Yea I had my name down on 2 shirts before the Jam, but then was unable to make the trip so I figure my shirts got sold in the all the mixup, but no big deal as long as I can still get one somewhere.
David doesn't have any extras, this XL is one of his shirts. I believe Cody has the, if any, extras but I got no response from him either.
