How do you guys lock your Boat Mate Trailers to your tow vehicles? I have a receiver lock for my trailer hitch, and I have a lock for when the trailer is not attached to my truck (for storage). I would like to lock the trailer to the truck hitch ball. Is this done by replacing the small hitch pin with a lock? The hole looks to small to get any sort of substantial lock thru it. Please help, just picked up my new '03 Outback LS and I love it. Great boat, now all we need is better weather. Thanks.

Yes, you put a lock through the hole where the pin goes. I have a small lock made by Cole on my boat trailor. The hole is pretty small but you just have to find a lock small enough to fit.

Masterlock makes one also. That's what we are using.

I found a small coupler lock (I think it is a masterlock) that I use on the other side from the pin. I still use the pin on the one side and put the lock through the hole on the other side.

Guys,
Thanks for the replies. I think I'll try it the same way Maty C has. Sounds good to me. Thanks to all.
