No doubt some great looking boats! The pricing is just out of control, but someone is apparently buying them. I do like the Tige's and will have one sitting on my lift once this Powerball early-retirement plan finally works out for me.

Thankfully some manufacturer finally realized that theater seating in the bow has been an overlooked option for years.

Lord have mercy I love boat show pics... will definitely be at the Dallas boat show. Dem prices make me so happy I own an affordable awesome boat though.

love to go look, but imo, no wakeboat, no matter the innovations or gadgets is worth over 100k. that's more than I have paid for a house..

heck, I'd have a horrid time stomaching a $75k boat..

When my Dad bought his first house around 1965 other family members said he thought he was some kind of "big shot". They said, "Who does he think he is -- buying a fifteen thousand dollar house?"

I watched a house hunter episode the other day and a guy was buying a townhouse in atl for pretty close to that same amount- 5 years old and in move-in condition. bank owned. would be interesting to pay for the house and have a big boat payment. opposite of most :)

All of you have it wrong, you can finance that boat for 100 years, that way it will only cost you 300 dollars a month for the rest of you and your kids lives.

I have had the opportunity to ride behind the G23 at OWC in Florida and I really must say it is totally freakin awesome. I would love to have that boat but there is no way in heck I would ever pay that much money. I am very curious to see what the price is on these beasts in 20 years. Its funny because I just sold my 1989 Nautique 2001 for close to 10K. Those boats hold their value really well.

I definitely don't think there is a such thing as a 150k wake. My 07 LSV has more wake than I know what to do with and is very stylish. I am super happy with my boat and I dont have to pass the debt to my future kids.

Went to the very small and fishing orientated Central Texas Boat Show tonight. Tooners and fish mostly but a dealership from the ATX did make the short trip north. Next week is the Austin show but in the mean time can you believe these:

I honestly don't understand how nautique and mc haven't priced themselves completely out of the market. Already. Bu isn't far behind either. I am so thankful there are still a few companies making awesome boats at somewhat reasonable prices. I mean how hard is it to make an awesome wakeboat for $150k? Try to make one almost just as good for a third of that -that's the key. Thanks moomba.

I think its because only 2 types of people are really buying the boats at those prices. People who can afford to buy it outright at the day of delivery, and those who really want the Stigma of having one so they pinch every penny to afford the payment

thanks for the photos, hope to get to the Nashville boat show maybe on Sunday.

I hear you on the prices - super rich guys that the money isn't important to, or super long loan lengths. I still don't understand it. There just isn't enough differentiation in the boats to me. They all have basically one of two comparable engines (either an Indmar or a PCM), they are about the same size, perform the same function, and are finished similarly. Oh I know you can see a few extra thousand in better vinyl, more padding, fancier electronics (most of which after zero off I wouldn't want) but double or even triple the cost? And, a 20 year payment on a $140,000 boat is still well over $1,000 monthly.

I've always wondered why the Centurions have that hump in the floor at the walk-thru. Always really bothered me. Anyone know?

I believe Centurion claims that it is for rigidity.

Don't listen to him. He's been checking out all the cialis ads lately a bit too much!

And yes, it was difficult but I was able to let the mama joke setup slide this time...

I have to kinda laugh at the advertising photo;s though. They show a boat load of 20 something "kids". Not to put the kids down but likely if you combined everyone of there yearly incomes they might cover the cost of the boat.

Now i realize one of those KIDS could be a sponsered rider and essentially, thats a FREE boat but not likely.Could they not be a LITTLE more realistic and at least show THE DAD who likely bought the boat or financed it?? OH but wait That would not be COOL?

An observation from working the boat show this weekend as well as some insight.

I sold to more younger folks than older. Unfortunately, they see a payment that's under $500 and say, "I'll take it!" and even when I tried to council them about taking out a 20 yr loan, they still bought. Should be a few used SA's and Mojo's around next spring.

Sponsored riders don't get free boats unless they are the best of the best. They get heavily discounted rides, but nothing is free.

It was a good show for Atlanta Marine. I believe deposits were taken for 20+ boats, but I'm not positive. I ended up helping get 6 families into a SC product.

Went to Nashville boat show today. It was okay. For wakeboats, there was Centurion, Malibu, Axis, Nautique, Mastercraft and Moomba. Curiously, there was an EPIC center console bay fishing boat but no wakeboats. Same company, and that was a really nice boat.

Interestingly, there was Moomba but no Supra. For the last 5 years or so, there has been no Moomba dealer in middle TN. There was a SC dealer out of Alabama that had the territory, and they brought Supra and Moomba to the Nashville show. This year, the local Mastercraft dealer had picked up the Moomba line. They were obviously big on the MC boats, but they flat told me that MC had priced them out of most of their customers and they were excited about Moomba. They had 4 moombas there, a blue MOJO (I think it was $66k), a red LSV ($52.5), a black LSV (SOLD) and an OBV (also SOLD). There were things I liked and didn't like about each boat, but overall they did a real good job with the Moomba line in that they were talking them up and all the boats they had at the show looked very nice. Good colors, well optioned, etc. I also thought that of all the boats at the show, that red LSV for $52.5 was by far the best deal there. The only other new wakeboat at about the same price was the OBV (I think it was only $3.5 less) and a leftover 2012 Centurion Elite C-4 for $50k (which is a smaller, more dated boat with only a 93" beam). These were all the advertised boat show sale prices, don't know if you could do better by talking to them.

I was disappointed that there was no Supra dealer there, I wanted to see the SA and I also wanted to check out what Tige' is offering now.

I'm glad that there is finally a Moomba dealer in middle TN.
