Bilge loose

I was cleaning my boat yesterday and i found that the bilge pump was loose, i used epoxy glue, i was wakeboarding (water here still 78°F) last five days and left the boat at the marina, i checked everyday the bilge pump and it was working fine to me, was loose but no to much just a few inches from the bottom, do yoy guys think that water inside may reached to high? is there a special glue to it?
