I'm about to shrink wrap my boat for the winter. I did it myself with a kit from West Marine and it was easy and worked well. Last year I used an industrial heat gun and it took for ever. This year I bought one of those propane powered torches. The directions from DR-Shrink.com say to put a piece of tape over the gas vent. I couldn't find it and skipped that last year but now with the propane torch I'm nervous. I suspect it is integrated into the gas filler cap but would like some confirmation. It is a 2000 Outback LS with the MPI motor.
