It has been just about 2 weeks without any forum here. Does anybody have any good end of the year memoires they would like to share? What are people doing with thier boats during the winter months? Has anyone seen the '06 line-up, and what do you think? Brian Raymond

Brian, great question...

My favorite part of the summer is listening to the kids say "my turn dad". My worst part of the summer is listening to the kids say "my turn". (kidding). Now I know what I put my father thru for so many years but it is all worth it. My dad sold his boat about 5 years ago and watching him drive my boat this summer was priceless.

Thank you to both Moomba and Skiers Choice for making my first boat purchase one of the best ideas I have had in many years. By doing this purchase it has brought my children and myself closer. Also a special thank you to Brian for answering all my stupid questions about my boat.

I really look forward to purchasing a 06 LSV.

We probably have about 3 more weeks of lake time then it will be time to put her to bed for a whild.

We spent our first full summer at our new lake place. I had most of July off so I spent a lot of time on the water.

I have increased my slalom from the occasional 22 off at 30 mph to consistenly 32 off at 34mph and just this last couple of weeks - 35 off at 34.

Thanks Brian for your help this spring in working through my Bilge and Blower problems. The blower was just stuck. I spun it up by hand and it started working fine. I wish I could say as much for getting the carpeted boards out of the trunk. I don't knw how you guys do that at the plant. Do they go in before the top goes on? The bilge is still not working right. I have a new one in place but it still will not shut off consistently. I will have dealer rewire and investigate when they winterize.

One of my favorite memories is this sunrise photo:

Sunrise on Mobius (http://bensonwdby.home.comcast.net/LakeHome/mobius_sunrise.JPG)

but getting in 3 solid sets at 35 off is a close second.

We are looking at frost tonight but hopefully 70's on Saturday. May be last run of the season.

Dave,
What lake are you on in Minnesota? It sure doesn't look like any lake in the Twin Cities......

yea, I could try an undisclosed lake location in Ohio. You's hit it on about guess two or three, unless you were my son - 40% on his first T/F test (social studies).

Put the soccer ball down, look over here - NOW!

but I digress

I still wish you had that tube video, it was a hoot.

I bought my 05XLV in June. Overall, I have really enjoyed it. I really like surfing and this is a great boat for that.
