Outback Owners..Ballast in Ski Locker?

I have a 02 Outback and am wonderign what ballast you use in the back ski locker? What fits bestback there?

I suggest not putting any ballast in the aft storage. Reason being, is that the gas tank is under there. Any added weight over 100lbs. (not displaced properly), will cause damage to the top mounted fuel line(s) and fittings. Brian Raymond

I thought the gas tank was under the rear seat of a 02 outback ?

wakeme, on my 02 outback the gas tank is under the rear seat. the only thing under the rear floor is the rudder and the hose for the blower.

So does that mean I can put a ac back there? What are you guys using back there? I want to fill the boat with weight but not have any sacs showing...so looking for something for teh front storage and the rear ski locker
