Once again its that time a year again.

AWS throws a private Boat show of there inventory
Rolling out the carpet in the shop
Staging boats on the rocket launchers like you see at the big boat show
Sitting boats on blocks on the floor so you can see into them with no trailers in your way
Super sales on all the Retail gear you can handle
Best Boat sale prices of the year.

Will you be going?

I will of course
Will i purchase a boat?

This seems to be the big question among some.

Have to wait and see.

Boats Brands on Display

Moomba OBV, LSV, MOJO, possible an XLV
Supra SA350, Launch 21, Launch 22, 242
Malibu VLX, LSV, MXZ and a speacial 30th Aniversary 20ft
Axis A21, A22
Nautique 200, 210, 230, and the Monster G23

Plus lots of used boats too im sure LOL.

Tonight 7-10pm at the Oregon City AWS dealer.

Private as its just an AWS thing not Private like speacial tickets, its free, they nornally have free drinks and food as well.

I will get back with you about the Portland Boat show, i normally get VIP passes and i can get extras if i know exactly how many i need. No promises LOL. The VIP is a private showing and you get free food and drinks from the Portland Boat show, this is normally the night before the show opens to the public.

Moombadaze, you bet man i got the camera battery charging, ill get some pics of the show.

Berg i hear you going with Russ, i will not hold it against you running with riff raff like that. Looking forward to finally meeting you in person.

I hope my sense of humor is starting to show :). funny Berg!
Wonder if the 10 boats in Beaverton are going over? I've actually been waiting for them to thin the herd over there, I will miss driving by all those Boats everyday. I'm sure the showroom will stay loaded though.16557

The way AWS works now,

Supra Moomba and Nautique are kept at the Beaverton Store.

Malibu, Axis, and Used boats are kept at the Oregon City Store.

I would expect the Beaverton Showroom to be Empty, and most of the boats outside to be gone as well. Last couple years they have had close to 20 boats indoors for the event.

I just try to do my part, im a little horse this morning trying to yell over speakers LOL.

@Wolfeman i saw that pic Dam Amy always taking pictures LOL.
@Moombadaze sorry man all they had was Liquid Force boards and some Ronix, not really to big a discounts on them as most were 2013 stock and like 50 off.

As for my pics, well i set the camera on the wrong setting and ended up with most of my pics looking like a bad cartoon..Awe man im disgusted about it.

I do have a few i can post but they need to upload and i dont have time right now as i leave for work in about 30 minutes.

I finally got to meet Berg, hes a pretty cool dude as i figured he would be nice putting a face to the name finally man
Robert J was there, spoted him almost as soon as he walked in, if you ever met Robert you will know why, he towers over most LOL.
Boonejeepin <Russ> and his beautifull trio of girls he travels with was there, i know he was having a lot more fun then his Wife and youngest LOL.
Jester was not there as hes in Hawaii but his sister was there.
BrianPDX was there of course, he was texting me with the low down before i got there, beer in hand waiting when i pulled up, what a guy.
My best bro Steve and Curtis showed up and drank all BrianPdx beer, thats my bros LOL
Tyler and crew showed up and they brought lots of tailgating beer lol
Al Cab showed up, i gave him a hard time for not being around but life has him tied up right now
Of Course Shane Stillman and Amy where there to promote the SA and the rest of the SC line up.

When it comes to boats the place was loaded up.
They had a lot of Malibus on display inside and out
Supra Launch, Axis A2 Malibu Responce on the rocket launcher
2013 LSV on the floor
2012 Mojo in the back room on the floor
2013 SA on the floor
2013 Nautique G23 on the floor and it dominated its sapce with blowout price of 114K lol
Nautique 200 on the floor in a seperate room
Nautique 210, and 230 outside
Lots of used and a couple New boats outside as well for show.

I was talking to Gerry O the Sales Manager for the Malibu section and he was trying to get me in a Malibu, he had his IPad and numbers App telling me i could buy an 80K boat and pay as little as 420 a month HAHA for like 20 years...

I was surprised at how High the 2013 prices were,
2012 Mojo AWS price is 61895 with a Close out price 57990
2013 LSV AWS price is 59875 with a Close out price 57850

Supra boats
2012 Launch they had i didnt get the reg price but its blow out price was 49,999 I think this might be the 20ft i honestly didnt pay any attention to it lol.

2013 SA350 they have MSRP price 104485 AWS Price 91814 and Blow out price is 88990. This by fare droped my jaw the most as its really a fairly base model SA. No metalic gell, no real trailer options, no reall extra boat options. Just an SA for 89K basically. WOW

Only other boat i really looked at price on was the 2013 Axis A2 at just under 61K.

Great to finally meet you Mike, Al, RobertJ et al. Great time - got to meet Bob Soven and Parks Bonifay as well - that was fun. My son got a few autographs and snagged a few free t-shirts. Boat pics were hard to come by due to the crowds. We were there until it cleared out and they were ready to close down but we were too infatuated with the G23 on display to get any good pics.

Took a real close look at the surf gate. I'm still not convinced and heard mixes reviews from those at AWS who have rode them. I may still mockup a prototype just to play.

It was nice to meet you Greg (Berg) and Russ (boonejeepin), and good seeing Mike, RobertJ, and Brian again. As Mike says, I have been busy with other things and have not had much time for the forum. But with the wet weather settling in, that may change :)

Mike sorry I missed it but I decided to do my swimming in warm weather and not flooded streets. I hear there was some good prices and good to ready your review. The SA 350 for 89K is a big more then I thought they would be selling it for. One of these years I might make it and not be in Hawaii with warm weather.
