My Moomba is White on top with Dark Blue down the sides. All of the fiberglass had some oxidation but on the dark blue it was really white. I have since buffed the gelcoat and it looks good. I then applied Meguiars Carnuba wax to protect it. What else should be done to protect the boat. I can't buff it every year; the paints not that thick. Is the oxidation caused by Heat, UV rays or what?
Thanks Charles

If you wax it a couple times a year with a good, quality wax, you shouldn't have an oxidation issue. I had an old '86 model runabout that we kept waxed regularly. Did'nt have any problems with it.

Hope this helps
