Is the spreader piece between the front and rear tower tubes hollow and can you fish the speaker wires through them or do you have to jump the wires externally to the rear tube?

The rectangular tubes are hollow. You will have to drill a hole through both sides of the main round tubes to allow you to fish them into the rectangular tubes At least I had to. Used some chrome plugs from Home Depot to hide the access holes.

That sounds confusing...

AlCab has a write up on it somewhere.

Well i agree and not agree LOL.

Yes you can wire it from the front tube to the rear tube and make it wireless as i did mine like this as well.

My center tube is hollow, but you have to drill threw the outter tube wall and its inner wall, to reach the center tube. So after you drill the initial hole all you are in, is the tube you just drilled, you will need to align your bit and drill into the center tube after that still.

Same has to be done for the rear tube.

Then the fishing starts and its a biotch let me say LOL.

I am so glad I am done with tower wiring. I have to say though... what you have done with your tower there is BRILLIANT! Strapping it up to the garage celing. I will be stealing that sir! :)

Steal away!! Works great. The garage is just a little too short.

I was thinking about removing the wheels every winter but that sounded like way too much work.
Just make sure you find the center of the roof stud and drill a pilot hole before you screw in the eye bolt so you don't split it and weaken it.

Simular to my old garage, once i gutted all the drywall, re ran all the electrical wires i never drywalled the roof. This way it felt more open and allowed me to use the rafters for storage. I would strap my tower to one of the rafters to hold it up. Worked grate

New house the roof was literally 3 inches to low, basically the wake board tow eyelet LOL. I seriously thought about just putting a hole in the ceiling and adding some kind of box like a cat box almost to make it work but never did.
