finally
http://i527.photobucket.com/albums/cc351/moombadaze/11-4-12001.jpg

had some issue but still surfed.

wakeplate was stuck down and my starboard ballast would not drain.

got them both corrected after getting home and sucks to say but it was my fault-didnt have a plug plugged all the way in after my relocation

We made it out Saturday. My wetsuit is packed away and I have no way to get to it, and I didn't really mind not riding. Ash, myself and a buddy just hung out all day in a little hidden spot near where we usually ride. It was an awesome day, just hung back there for about 3 hours drinkin a few beers and shooting the bull.

Yeah, think they are rated for around 23 or 24 on the highway if you can control your foot. My mom has a '13 SS Camaro and gets around 20 with mixed driving, no trips over 30 miles.

Not going to worry at all about the gas mileage on this. I bought it for fun not to save gas. Tires are another issue with the rears being around ~$500 a tire for the 325/25/19!

That thing is a MONSTER! What is the length of the wheelbase? Does it take a five-point turn to do a three-point turn?

Its the largest they come 172 which is only wheel to wheel 14.3 feet. The truck is closer to 23ft long.

It will do a 3 point turn but honestly if Im stuck in a spot like that i just drive over the curb or what ever LOL.

I was actually looking at trading in for a new truck after all you guys have been buying brand new trucks. I looked at the Dodge 1500 series by fare the biggest improved truck over the last couple years
Chevy 1500 series still reminds me too much of driving a lifted car around
Ford F150 EcoBoost very nice i looked at the 2013 Lariet Crew Cab Long Bed which is really a short bed at 6.3ft. Was very impressed with the interior being larger then i expected and by fare larger then Chevy or Dodge crew cabs in the 1/2 ton truck.

I just couldnt get over the difference between my F350 and the 1/2 tons.

So i looked at the F350s and the changes between mine and them wasnt worth another 30-40K in bebt to buy one. The one i would buy was stickerd close to 63K and i only owe 23K on mine. The new 6.7 engine, upgraded trans, lockeing differentials, dash computer, and voice controled Nav systems were really nice but at the end of the day its very simular to my rig still. SO we passed and left lol.

I figure ill upgrade when they take the current F150 interior and add it to the F350 so the truck really is all new compared to mine. Couple years i expect.

Was fun looking though.

Claudia did say if we still had our F150 then she wouldnt have let me leave without a new F150, gotta love a woman who is looking out for you when it comes to trucks LOL

trying to decide if I want diff rims/tires. Thinking i may get a set of rims/bigger tires but going back to 18's. off road 20's are SO pricey! Definitely getting it leveled.. hate the front end sag on all new 4x4's.

Honestly how often do you drive it off road?
If you do goto 18s then get bigger tires, then just make sure the hieght of the tire now is the same as the new one, otherwise you will have to have the computer reprogramed for the new size. This effects, everything in the trucks calculations, Speed, MPG, Trans shift points. Also if you go over sized Ford might start giving you issues if you have any problems with steering, drive train issues.

Id also reccomend you keep the 20s even if you dont use them as trading the truck in later you will want the 20s with the truck, its listed as having them and not will be a - on the truck value at trade.

just my thoughts on it man.

BTW truck is looking sweet, im all for getting the front leveling kit, i would reccomend the camper shell from Leer like i have on mine. After seeing all the stuff you had in the back at the Jam you need more room then just a hard cover on the bed provides.

I didnt think i would like my shell as much as i do but i really like it now that im used to it being back there. Its great for the camping trips, i can leave boards, boat cover, extra gear in the back and not worry about it, and when in a pinch you can sleep back there pretty comfrotable. I also got the Bed Rug and its really sweet, and easy on the knees when i have to craw back in there.

When i was in HS i used to go off roading with a buddy of mine who had a Toyota with 37s on it i think, it was a lot of fun. I would love to go off roading with my rig, not to many places i have seen or know but theres no way my truck will ever be able to do that stuff.

I dont think its designed for that being as big and long as it is LOL

Mark - that setup looks tight. I bet you would have regretted going with white letters out. My last set of tires were white outline out and after the first day I hated it but didn't want to spend the $ to have them swapped.

Did you do any leveling on yours (torsion keys, blocks) or is that stock height?

The setting for that pic looks kind of familiar... :)

That truck is legit man. I had 35s on mine before then droped down to 34s, i was getting a bit of rubbing in the drivers front on the traction arm. Now it doesnt rub the arm but still hits the fender well plastic. I think i will be cutting that shorter.

I like the size tires i have now the best because they still look good, not to large, not to small but i get a little better milage then with my 35s also.

Yeah, I'll be dropping 34's (295/70/18) on my Tundra here pretty soon. Nitto Trail Grapplers. I'd like 35's but like you I think the 34's will be a good size and the gas mileage would be better.
