Well that question paints an interesting mental picture.

So far I have had no reason to worry. Are we Atkins challenged (c/o the New Bad News Bears to get this) or planning to carry our extra luggage down the road?

You could always try loading stuff on it till it breaks off. Then weigh the result, back off a few pounds and there ya go
.
Hope this helps

I have the same question. I think I have had up to 4 people on the swim platform (about 750 lbs) of my xlv. Since there are 2 connectors, I would hope they would support at least 500 lbs each and even 1000. My hope is that 1000 lbs on the platform would be ok. Anyone out there having more?

I don't think I'd trust it to hold 1000#, Although it may very well can. Don't want to take the chance. I usually limit the # o ppl on the platform to a boarder and a helper. Really don't see any need to have more than that back there at one time. I have had up to 4 on it though (prolly 600 - 700#).

Hope this helps

Probably holds even more in the water. As the weight is added the platform settles into the water and the water should help hold a little of the weight.
