2004 vs 2006 or newer LSV

Just wondering if anyone has wakeboarded or surfed behind both an older style mobius LSV (pre 2006) and the newer style hull (post 2006). I'm currently in the market for a wakeboard boat, and have an opportunity at a very clean 2004. I have read that the 2006 hull was improved for wake capabilities, but not really sure if it's enough improvement to hold out for a 2006 or newer. Any thoughts?

I've ridden behind an '08 outback V for years now and it has a great wake! It has the same hull you are asking about. It surfs great too.

I have an 05LSV and have ridden behind an 07LSV. In my opinion the 07 can get a better wake with less hassle. I love my 05 and get get a wakeboard wake that is better than i'll ever need, but the surfing wave is a little touchier to set up with the older hull design.

if the prices aren't to far apart i'd go for the newer one.

Exactly...our 2004 seems sensitive..some days it throw a huge wake, and others not so good. All depends on the condition of the lake...if the water is a little rough, or we don't have enough people the wake can such..add another person and the lake is smooth the wake is awesome.

had both hulls, but mosty surf. hold out for the 06+ hull, it can take more weight
