Looking to purchase the EZ Ski Kids Trainer or something similar.
Has anyone purchased one and what are your thoughts? (Ease of use, how old was your child).

He loves tubing this past summer.

If you have one or know one for sale, we would be interested. (also posted on Supra site).

Your link is broken. My neighbor has one and his kids love it. 2 and 4 and they have both tried it in one way or another.

This one is great for learning with very small kids:

This one sprays kids in the face so my Dad glassed a piece of plywood in the center and made a toboggan like board out of it. The kids love it. Without this modification I would have pitched it or sent it to ebay.

We have one and both my kids LOVE it! It is a great confidence builder! I have a 2 and 5 year old. I can't get them off of it! They would ride it all day if I let them!

I would definitely recommend the "horseshoe" ski http://www.bartswatersports.com/catalog/Junior_Combo_Water_Skis/OBrien_Platform_Trainer_OR9C95/index.asp

My kids and grandkids all learned from it. Its super easy to do and gives them a much more realistic waterski experience and feel then the inflatable one. It was one of the best things I have bought for my kids.

kaneboats-That is the one I tried to link. (Unfortunately can't edit the post to fix the link)

Glad to hear about the age group this is for as he just turned 1, so will be 1-1/2 next summer. He already loves tubing with his mom, so we figured something like this would be the next step.

Appreciate the feedback.

Ian bought an EZ ski for my Grandaughter Emily for Christmas. We started by pulling her in the snow to give her the "feel" and when she hit the water in May, it was absolutely awesome. She was a 3 years, 5 months her first time on it. After several rides, she now always stands right up, insists on going faster, and tells Daddy it is still her turn when we pull her in.

This is one of the absolute best investments we have made and I highly recommend it. Several dealers told me to avoid the soft bottom versions, as they were unstable compared to the EZ Ski and didn't have as much of a real "ski" feel. Emily has now mastered leaning to turn and always manages to throw a wave out to people who are cheering her on when she is "skiiing" by!

I have both a horseshoe type and kid skis that are joined with training bar. Neither of my kids had success before I got these tools in the tool kit. The real key for us has been the rope with handle on both ends which splits the load between the arms and legs when pulling out of the water. Plus you can teach kids to ski at almost idle speed.
