bad gas

I am writing to see if anyone here knows the key to remove a gas tank from an 01 moomba outback. I have gotten a hold of some bad gas & it has led me to replacing a h2o separator twice, rebuilding a carb. & with no luck there, my only hope is to remove gas tank & clean it. Any suggestions on removal & cleaning? Please help! moombadog-

Wish I could help you but I'm V-Drive vs D-Drive. Mine is accessible under the floor panels - screwed down in each corner. I'm thinking the Outback would likely be similar?
