There are a couple of us that have this one from Amazon. I'm 6' 245 and I love riding this one. Pretty quick board, fun to play around on.

The hyperlite broadcast has been a great family board for us and it looks like they are $250, might be in your price range. You can view a few others here: http://www.evo.com/shop/wake/wakesurf-boards/s_price-asc.aspx

FWIW, we bought it over winter last year and got a blemished 2011 for $180.

I had both the CWB Ride and the Hyperlite Broadcast and I think the Broadcast is better.

I don't love the slingshot arcane I picked up, I like the cheap hyperlite. I will be looking into a good board this winter.

Depending on your price you cant go wrong with a full custom Soul Craft like mine man

To me the Ride seemed to handle like a tank! The broadcast (4'8") moves around pretty good. The larger Hyperlite is good too just I could tell that it was bigger but still handled better than the Ride.

I like the Ride it has its place in the rack. I only use it for new people with all three rear fins. Once they get pretty decent i will remove the center rear fin this speeds the board up a lot.

After they are good with that i advance them to my intermidiate board.

Once they got the free rope down and board control i let them ride my new custom Soul Craft Jetty.

Damn.... You out bid me by $6.00.
If your ever in the Jordan Lake area you'll have let me take it for a spin. I have the XXX Slasher and have enjoyed it the last couple of years, but I'm looking a new ride.
