So what rack options are available for the V2 tower? I'm not having a whole lot of luck locating options so I hope somebody can fill me in. We've got the standard 2 wakeboard racks on now. I'd like to find something that is more surf board friendly.

All options shared are appreciated.

These might work. Search 'bu Illusion tower surf racks for other options.

The illusion tower mount is the same. Do you have the spinning racks on the v2

Bakes will give Moomba owners a discount.

No spinning, just standard mount.

No spinning, just standard mount.

Your standard rack comes with the wake/ surf combo rack, unfortunately it does not fit thicker boats like inland surfer etc.

So a 4" inch forks will fit the base mount , four screws and a swap, but a bit pricey

That's true, the standard are wake/surf combos that just don't fit the thicker boards. Replacement forks are almost as expensive as the bulletline racks Drew linked, ouch.

Drew have you ordered from Bullet Lines before? I'm not familiar with them.

Also, they list two Malibu Illusion mounts the X and XS. Any idea which one?

Thanks.

FWIW I have ordered through Bullet Lines before and have had no problem. I emailed about not receiving the 'deals' emails that some members post here and they gave me a great deal on 2 racks.

Ron,

Sorry, but I have not. Seems they did good by Ryan and I believe others on here as well. I'd suggest giving them a call as I don't know the difference between the two, or if there even is one.

That's correct, the Illusion X. Just got confirmation from Ken at Bullet Lines. Got an order in for one, I'll report back.

I have this rack for my boat for the larger surfboards.
I like it a lot but i did have to buy 4 new Longer bolts as the ones they gave me wernt long enough and 2 fell out of the mounts.

Other then buying new bolts everyhting is great.

Not positive that one linked will fit as its looks like its for a tube tower like mine.

I actually got the kneeboard/wakeboard combo ordered for the Illusion X. We'll see how it works.

Thanks
