can I re gelcoat my boat?

I own an 01 outback ls. It has the red stripe on top. The boat was a good deal so I had no choice on color. After 4 years now I'm a little tired of it and would love to get the sides gel coated red. I think that looks really good. If anyone knows if you can get a bboat ge coated please let me know. Thanks in advance.

yes you can gel coat but the color is not in the gel coat, you would have to paint it I think. Not worth it IMHO.
