Chris, nice riding, can't wait till we get a group together and ride and try those assortment of boards.

Looks like you were riding a smaller lake than the monster Seneca....

FWIW I can get that average weight up.....:D

Interesting starting method...We all start in the water and not off the platform..I've seen it done on videos but not sure I could pull it off like that. LOL
I have a direct drive too and I find the wave is better on the starboard side, which is great for me as I'm goofy footed.

Looks like you guys go pretty fast. I ind 10mph is good for me and about 9.5mph for smaller riders.

We've been working on starting off the platform no rope. As to starting with the rope on the platform, I wouldn't say it's more difficult then starting the the water other then you have to be careful not to mark up the transom.

GPS has us at about 10 as well

Not the OBV. We took my boat up. What a great place for Moombas. The lake is only about 4 miles long and .5 miles wide and I think 5 of the 10 boats out there were Moombas!

My son and his buddies surf behind our DD all the time. They fill the stock bag and then seat everyone on the starboard side of the boat. In deep water it throws plenty of wake to surf on.
