I just made the switch from a 2002 Ski Nautique 196 to a 07 Mobius LSV.

Here are some pictures.

Congrats on an incredible looking boat! Any idea who did the wrap? One of the coolest I've seen on any boat.

Nice!

And, are pulling that with a Raptor?

I'm not sure who installed the wrap but its from z-decals. It looks even better in person.

Yes the vehicle pulling it is my Raptor.

Yep, thought I recognized that as one of the z-decals "stock" wraps from a few years back.

How does the Raptor do with towing? I have my eye on one, but our local truck expert on the board is trying to talk me out of it.

If you want a badass truck that can haul ass across almost any type of terrain then get a Raptor. Heres a video of my truck at silver lake dunes in michigan. I was keeping up with Quads in the whoops the truck is so much fun!

It towed the Mobius perfectly fine from Branson, MO to Michigan with zero issues. The Supercab is rated for 6000lbs towing crew cab is something like 8000lbs.

are the trucks coming down backwards ones that simply couldn't make it up the dune?

did you put any blacks or airbags on the suspension? My fear (and warning given) was that the suspension would be too soft for towing a 21+ft boat.

Yes the trucks coming down backwards didn't make it up.

My truck has the factory suspension. I do have the SDHQ rear frame bolsters, and the front suspension is at the middle perch setting.

Other than that it is completely stock. It tows almost as good as my old 05 F150 supercab 6.5ft bed. The Crew Cab will tow better due to the extra length but the Supercab is a much more nimble machine. You will have zero issues towing any tow boat except maybe a Nautique G23 or G25 type boat.

If you have any Raptor questions feel free to ask. Or check out www.fordraptorforum.com

Drew,
Check the fuel mileage before you jump in! My boss has one.. RUnning a long running average gas mpg of 10.4 MPG.

Tough Truck! The black one looks great.

Meh . . .

that would be the same as worrying about the gallons burned per hour in a SA550.

My raptor averages 15.7mpg running 75-80mph. Towing the boat it averaged 11mpg over 800 miles.

Even if it got 11mpg always the truck is awesome and well worth it. It seriously is that badass .

Welcome Jason!
I've been friends with Jason for years and I played a hand in convincing him into getting a Moomba when he decided to upgrade to a boat for surfing.
I hope to meet up with Jason tonight to surf it on his lake.

When my wife and I decided to sell our Ski Nautique 196 we where pretty much set on buying a Super Air Nautique 210. Then the weekend before the 4th of july we went over to Stazi's house and surfed behind his boat. The wake was pretty awesome and we liked the boat overall(minus its a DD). We started looking at Mobius LSV's and decided on this one.

This is what the boat looks like under tha wrap.

Pulling the boat out for the summer.

The LSV is pretty much the same. Added Hydroturf to the swim platform, some LED's inside. Have some Whelen LED lighting on the way.

Raptor is totally different. ICON 3.0 shocks, WSI front bumper, 30" KC HiLiTES LED bar, General Red letters, vertical tire rack, WSI Fauxhawk rack, AE Alloy wheels, ICON upper control arms, Lowrance Chartplotter, etc...
