Shopping for a new boat this may be the one. I love my lsv but time for something bigger.

what year LSV do you have?

the new LSV may fit the bill, the SA will certainly especially if you are referring to the price tag. But, it's one BAD AZZ boat and worth every last penny, IMO.

For those who have not yet viewed. It does favor the new centurion fx22 just happy it is a skier choice. Centurion doesn't do well on the east coast

I believe you spoke with Chad about it earlier. I want to go bigger. We almost bought a 242 just wasn't crazy about the color and options

Well, hello to the better half!

You need to come for a ride in the Mojo and I'll give ya the skinny on the SA. Both are 22.5ft boats. IMO, the Mojo felt bigger, but the SA has more of the fancy Supra stuff.

Yes, he told me about the invite thanks we will plan something soon. My friend just bought a mojo loves it... I'm up for a change we almost bought a centurion a few weeks ago surf edition but I'm glade we didn't. I just know we need something bigger in size for the length of the wave we need for drive.

I don't always ride Skimmer boards I have my custom I like to play with but with our wave the phase five Daniel pro loses drive also...

Well, it's going to be awhile before we can actually surf the SA. I heard good things about the surf wave and took some video today, but that doesn't tell you how much drive is behind it. I've seen plenty of big waves that were wimpy.

Yeah I just want to be happy all the way around with the next purchase. I want enough room for everyone also hidden ballast. The centurion had a awesome wave but ballast bags everywhere in the boat. I'm not crazy about doing that unless really needed and a boat 22ft+ you shouldn't have a problem hidding the bags.15528

if you have pics of surfing behind the mojo post them if you don't mind I would like to see the size

nope. you have to come surf it yourself. ha.

I think I've posted quite a few, so do a search as I'm being bombarded to post pics of the new boats.

soschic4eva

I know but that g25 it a sick boat. Nautique always one ups everyone lol. I really do like the hull shape though but I guess the mojo is similar.

Mojo was out first and the best thing Nauti does at one-upping is price.

Oh, and since you're in the Metro ATL area, would you be OK with taking a G to MarineMax?

Wow, those SC goggles must be thick........

Ya the Mojo was out before but don't compare it to a G23 or G25 and say the diff is price. I LOVE the mojo, ride it every other time I go out, but it's not the same calibur as the G series of boats and you get a LOT more then just a higher price. Will I ever own a G, probably not but at this point and time, it is the best of the best when it comes to wake boats, even if it does cost $170k!

wolfeman131
07-24-2012, 11:56 AM
I didn't compare it to the G. Simply said the Mojo was out first and that Nautique is the market leader in price.

soschic4eva
07-24-2012, 12:02 PM
Lol I was giving the Mojo props I like the boat and the hull. That's all I was stating in comparison to the G. Nautique is like Mastercraft and Malibu you pay for the name. Our LSV out preformed our friends VLX every time in every aspect.

There is a new Nautique riding around West point but we have yet to see him out.

what she meant to say is we see an air nautique at a slip everytime we go out and it always has a tube blown up on the sundeck.

Agreed, I think the 242 can take it. I don't need a crazy price tag for a boat, I just need one that performs.

Hey Drew, I was just talk about how you said:

best thing Nauti does at one-upping is price.

Yea, they are priced the highest and ya most of us can't afford it but you can't say that they also haven't produced the best wakeboard boat made to date. It has almost every innovation on wakeboats thus far yet and the wake makes some other tournament boats look like outboard wakes. But it also weighs 5800 lbs with 2800lbs of ballast which is not what %99 of riders need.

Thing is if I had to buy a brand new wakeboat, it would be the Mojo. Its a LOT of boat for the money. I love it. But would I take a G23 instead, heck ya, who wouldn't. Ferrari or Acura? Acura will be more reliable and more value and overall the smarter purchase but a $150k boat is not for people looking to make a "smart" or value oriented purchase.

I am very intrigued at the new Supra. A 24ft version would be so amazing!

soschic4eva
07-24-2012, 01:18 PM
I agree, I think we would all take one given a chance.

Although, I also thought the SA would be a 24ft but that would probably hurt 242 sales. From talking with some of the other manufacture dealers and some pro-riders 22-23ft boat are better sellers. Some say the new 24ft+ boats are great for space and room but sometimes just too big. I wouldn't personally know, this is just what I have been told.

I just love the idea of hard tanks. I know everyone has mixed emotions about it but I hate having wasted floor space with bags everywhere.
