Why I stay away from WakeWorld

I really like the guy that runs WakeWorld, David Williams, based on the limited interaction I have had with him. Seems like a cool dude and I'm glad he has a cool resources for some things we don't cover here.

But, this is why I stay away and lurk more than post.

WARNING: Do NOT spend any valuable time away from your family, eating, drinking a cold one or ligthing your own farts reading this thread. Save this for that time that you sneak the ipad into the crapper after an evening of overindulgence at a cheap Mexican restaurant.

That's all wakeworld is anymore. There's really no good that comes out of that site. For weeks they've been bitching and moaning about the new CC G23 vs the new XStar and also there is a thread about tige vs MB. It's sad.

I was looking forward to seeing the pics of the new supra but now the trolls have entered the thread and are bashing it (granted I don't like everything about it)

Really? I have always thought he was pretty objective in his posts. He is a lawyer by day by the way. Apparently he gets these boats at near cost so it's not as painful as you would think.

All depends how up the food chain you are. I know and deal with a lot of attorneys and they all are in chill mode for the most part

Thats a typical thread and reason i never goto WW site. Its been like that as long as i can remember. You cant even go on there and post something positive on a boat they all like, because someone will twist it around and start a wake hate thread about it.
