This weekend I ran about 800lbs in the back with ballast and 400 with people in the back and about 800 in the front with ballast and people. Wake was sweet but took forever to plane out, would a new prop help this. It felt like at least 20 sec before we got back to normal.

Most likely yes. What prop are you running currently?

Before putting out that kind fo scratch it'd be good to know what the current diameter and pitch are at least. Are there no markings on the prop at all? Something like 14 x 14.5 of 13 x 17. Anything?

I'll check next time I have the chance

Okay, there are some OJ props with 14 diameter and 18 pitch. Assuming that is what you have there are plenty of options for props that would provide much better hole shot. ACME 1433 and 1847 are very popular, the 1235 is well liked if you have plenty of trailer to prop clearance.

Edit: By getting a prop with a lower pitch your hole shot will increase, but you will lose some top end speed. The 1847 will lose less top end of the 3 props listed but still give you great hole shot.
