Is there a way to test if the gauge itself is broken? The gauge used to work intermittently and would then work if you tapped on it. Now it does not move at all. I checked the connections and found a wire that
was not connected. I connected it and checked the others and I still have nothing. The plate itself works fine. Any ideas would be appreciated. I do not want to buy a new gauge and then find out it was something else.
