Well that's no fun, I was hoping to play chicken on the water with the locals. :D

Only thing that stinks is that I have to wait on a new trailer to get built and the Ramlin factory closed for two weeks for 4th of July.

Makes me want to go work at Ramlin.

You must have gotten a huge pay raise at work. I like CC, but they are really proud of their product.

Congrats.

They are proud but I was surprised by how much Moombas have come up. I paid a bit more but not much more than a similar year/model.

lol, thanks. That was 10 pounds of tower on a 5 pound boat.

Thanks guys, here are a few more pictures. I will be waiting 2 to 3 weeks for a new Nautique trailer that's on order so unfortunately the boat will have to sit at the Nautique dealership until then.

It's going to be a long couple of few weeks :/

They are a proud bunch and the prices do hurt a bit. My parents owned a ski school/rental place for years and they've had every boat known to man out there over the years (including a number of Moombas). My dad is the cheapest guy I know and hates paying for premium anything but he's always said that the Nautiques are such a great ride.

I've never owned one or wakeboarded behind one. I'm really curious to see what she is capable of doing.

I'm thinking for all that money you just spent the dealership would be giving me a "loaner" trailer until mine came in from factory

No, it's sitting on one of those dolly things that allows you to move it around the yard. I just left there and my sales guy said he usually does have a shop trailer he could loan me but theirs just broke the welds on the axle and it isn't useable. He has another guy that bought another 211 on the same day and he's in the same boat (lol)

I'd ask the sale guy where the nearest moomba/mastercraft dealer is and mumble something about canceling your order.. :)

lol, yeah. Actually I did go down to the Mastercraft dealer and they had the same boat (same year and everything) but it was a consignment so they wouldn't take my trade, they wouldn't finance, they wouldn't tax, tag & title it. Bascially all they'd do is accept my check and tell me to have fun. And they wanted more than I paid for mine. :/

They did have a number of Nautique trailers that would fit my boat but they were like 2005 or older and beat all up, bent in fenders, carpet torn off the bunks and they wanted what I'm paying for my new trailer.

I called a couple other dealers that are a couple hours away to see if they can get me one.

You'd think we'd have better options being in the wakeboard mecca.

Hey, moto. You'll love Charlie if you ever get down there and meet him. Great guy with a lot of patience. My 11 year old kid fired up his boat and drove it when there was kind of a misunderstanding and all he did was laugh. He's a friend forever in my book after that one.

You have a great family, you're a lucky man. Thanks for the kind words :)

The new trailer was delayed another two weeks......sigh.

I went up to the dealership again today to see if I could pull the trigger on this boat http://orlando.craigslist.org/bod/3127828883.html but it is 11" too tall for my garage :(

Have you paid for the boat with a missing trailer? Are you paying insurance? Who owns the boat right now? I can't imagine buying a boat, from a dealer especially, in the middle of summer and not being able to use it.

Did the boat purchase include a trailer? Am i missing something here?

I have not paid for the boat yet, just gave them my old boat as a deposit. The dealership owns the boat right now.
