Just saw a commercial on MTV for a new series called Wake Brothers. MTV is calling it a reality show featuring Phillip and Bob Soven and premiers July 25th. Here is a link I found on google for the trailer but it may only work on an iPad. If so just google wake brothers on MTV

lol ain't it :)

Bob is the one keeping me coming back for me. If it was just phil it would be a snoozer. At first I was kinda missing the lack of boarding they show, but their "adventures" make up for that

Personally I think Bob is not nearly as funny as he thinks he is. He tries too hard.

Agreed I was hoping for more boarding

Pretty disappointed in the show. However, I think it's so bad that I continue to watch to see just how bad it can get. I haven't missed one yet. Maybe that was MTVs plan as it seems to be their plan with all of the shows.

Thought it might be cool... but here we go... Kids living off of mommy and daddy's $$$$$. Too much relationship crap, like all of mtv's shows. Who gives a rats ass. Every mtv show (except for ridiculousness) focuses on relationship crap like its the only thing in the world that matters. Not nearly enough boarding. Grow up MTV, show someone over 30.

I don't think they live off mommy and daddy $$$$$$. Pretty sure it's endorsement $ and comp $.

Yup. I recall an episode where Phil was laying it down to Bob about their "landlord-tenant" relationship. Phil hints at being diversified - investing elsewhere and not being able to wakeboard forever.

Yeah, he's part owner of some country bar in downtown Orlando

That's right! And Bob and Hurley and the boys go muddin' and round up a bunch of rednecks for the opening night.

I personally think they should veer away from the Jersey Shore wannabe drama of their lives and throw up some more footage of their riding parties right off their back 40. Practice sessions - hanging out on the water - trying new stunts. Like when they were playing pig behind the boat. That's what everybody really wants to see!
