A few pics of these two mods as brain rinse had shown some interest.

Let me know if any clarification is needed...

Very nice work! I am going to build a bow filler cushion one of these days. After seeing your pics I might keep it short and keep the cup holders. Thanks for the pics!

Sure. I'll take some pics this weekend while we are on the water.

I just ordered a bow filler cushion and it likes I slide back. I always thought they had some kind of circular piece that fit inside those cup holders to keep it in place but I guess not? Is mine defective or are they all flat on the bottom???!

How much was that cushion? I've been thinking about ordering one too.

The one on my Mojo is flat on the bottom, but doesn't slide back. It wedges between the bow cushions real tight. Maybe it will loosen up over time.

I believe it was 250 ordered through Atlanta marine

I think mine was $300. It came with two round pucks mounted on the base of the cushion that fit in the drink holder openings. This is what stops it from sliding back. You can see from the above pics that I replicated the openings on the new plate I made to allow the seat to lock in to the new position.

If I understand you guys properly that have the newer boats, the cushions come with a flat has now (no pucks?).

Are standard hockey pucks the right size?

This is puckin crazy. Measure the cupholders, cut some PVC and epoxy it to the bottom of the cushion. But what the puck do I know?

I tried to build a pucking tower camera mount out of PVC and had no pucking luck finding the right size!

Ok, a few more photos of the wind block.

I used 1/2" hdpe (cutting board type product) and had to spend some time carefully measuring and cutting to get the tapered shape (top to bottom) correct in the opening when closed.

A simple set of stainless hinges works perfect.
15073

Simple slide bolt that slides into a hole drilled in the drivers side wall and a rubber grommet superglued in to stop it from rattling.
15074

Lastly, I used a router to round off the outside edges so it does not hurt too much if you catch it on the way to the bow.

It fits perfect under the center window when closed and really cuts out the wind. (see photo from the beginning of thread).

One of the best mods I have done- according to my wife...

Is it sturdy enough for a passenger in the center position to lean against?

No problem at all, in regards to strength, although I am not sure on the comfort factor to lean against it. No one has ever tried, as far as I can remember. It is mounted pretty straight up and down.
