Just curious, has anyone replaced their complete rubrails. I currently have the gray one and it shows everything. I want to go with the black and asking for some advice.

Thanks, Doug

Smokedog2,

I knew I could count on you. I know they look good but how do they hold up. The reason I ask is that "some" women have a tendancy to hit the dock. hahahaha.

Thanks for input,

Doug

I do not know, I bought off the lot and it had rubber but someday I want to upgrade. I believe they hold up better and look better. It is more of a long term plan.

I got the stainless rub rails because my wife is docking challenged. I love them and can tell you from experience that they hold up very well and don't show dings like the rubber. Very good option if you have the opportunity.

Mine are holding up fine, granted it is an 05. I try to keep a clean towel on the boat for wiping them down, to reduce water spots, but there is a product out there called "Never Dull", it works great. It also works on anything stainless, it cleans bugs off the tower, cleans up cleats---anything metal.

ya know guys, my nine year old son cannot drive the boat either but it is not an issue, you know why?:p

Good one Smokedog2,

That is so true.

I will check with Anthony at Skiers Choice and see how much more they are.

I was so glad mine came with the ss rubrail. The old runabout had the vinyl ones....looked crappy......anyway, ss is well worth the investment. I recommend it highly.

Hope this helps
