I have the GPS digital cruise. My water temp has been reading 70 for the last few weeks. How do I reset it so it will read correctly?

Find a lake that isn't 70 degrees?

I was at West point this past Sat and on Lanier on Sun and both read 70. West point is almost like a bath tub now and lanier is a lot cooler. I know it is reading wrong my temp at west point was reading high 70's - low 80's and then it just started reading 70. I havent tried anything to fix it. I will try killing all power to it and see if it will re-boot it self.

Pull the fuse or the Battery cable, wait a minute or two plug it all back in.
If it continues to read 70 then you might have a problem with the Paddle Wheel on the boat as this is where the temp sensor is located.

That's one of the best replies I've read. :D

My temp gauge consistently shows Lanier in the low 80's. I haven't seen the 70's in about a month. We are there about 3 times a week.

I pulled the battery cable and it reset my cruise; West Point was reading 89 yesterday.
