Thanks fellas. Only had 14 miles on it so I've not played to much with it but it's got 300 HP under the roof so it'll be a fun car to drive. And no repair bills for for 5/50 and no maintenance bills for 2 years

Not sure about painting the roof black but I'm gonna debadge it tonight and have the Nissan emblems painted black or I may give it a shot at plasti dip

my .02, debadge it and don't put them back on. there's still chrome on the doorhandles and door trim. black emblems will look funny with chrome left on the car. now if you plan on changing those out, then it'll look good with black emblems.. just get out the dental floss, pull the badges off and leave them off..

I agree also, except with the roof black, what's that all about? Anyways, went to a local body shop and the dude said he can't paint the chrome pieces, won't stick. Maybe dude was drunk?

IMO, that's just a good way to raise the interior temp of her car by 25 degrees and have her constantly po'd at you.

Yeah, you can't paint over that shiny chrome plated plastic. It's too "slippery" for the new paint to adhere. Just pull the badges.

Some of the maximas I looked at had a front and rear moon roof and the entire top was some type of glass. Not doubting the bromance but you sure the car in the pic has been painted black or is that way from factory? Either way thou I don't see the wife signing off on that one

Off with the badges it is. Just really wanted a black/white theme. Guess its time to trade in the family war wagon and make it happen

After I get the bumpers and grill shell colormatched it will have a Black Billet Replacement, so at that point a black hat might just be the finisher!

buddy here had a white toaster that he put black rims on and painted the roof black. it was sweet looking. I think that maxima in the pics above is slick looking. it was only $200 for the guy here to shoot the roof black on his, but there are some thoughs that once you mess with the factory paint, it's never the same. if you can figure out how to white out the chrome, do it, but otherwise, debadge and call it a day. still a sick ride either way..
