I have 18" rims/tires on my D/A trailer. wanting to get a spare, but a. custom rims i have are discontinued, and B. dont necessarily want to pay for a 18" rim/tire combo. I'd rather just mount to trailer and cover with tire cover...
Would there be any issue with using a 14" standard size trailer tire/rim as a spare. I assume that the outer diameter of the 14" tire is very similar to 18" based on low profile 18's..
ANyone have a 14" boatmate spare?

No i dont have a spare for you yet maybe next year LOL.

Yes you can just buy a cheap 14 rim and put a tire on it for the spare. As long as there same outside tire diameter the trailer wont care. This is the same as when you use a donut spare on your car.

When you click on that link, then on the "buy" it takes me to a page that doesn't show that model wheel available.

I was gonna click on that button to check before I posted the link too. That stinks, that boat would look sweet with matching spare.

Here's a handy little tire size calculator to compare sizes between the 18's and 14 if you haven't played with one yet...
