Finally took some pics of my system that I think i'm done with for now.

14823

I'm currently rockin' 6 Polks MM6501UM in the cabin powered by a Kicker IX500.4

14822

For the sub I went with a Kicker CompVX 12 powered by a Kicker IX1000.1. DFW Stereo in Grapevine, TX built and fiberglassed the box. I'm 6'3" and I didn't want alot of leg room taken up by a sub box. The installer at DFW Stereo said he could squeeze a box in front of the LSV driver footwell hump. I was a little dubious that he coulld get it to fit and that it would sound good. The box is a little over 1 cubic foot and that CompVX hits hard in that little box.

For the tower I have a Wetsounds Rev10 and JL Audio HD750.1 combo. Earmark in Lewisville did the install of the Rev10s and 750.1. They also integrated a Kicker dual zone controller into the dash. I'll need to get them to do the same with the sub controller as well. You can see it to the right in the pic

I'm using Wetsounds RGB rings for the Rev10s. Took me about an hour to install them.

For the RGBs, I used Ozniums flexible LED strips and I can control the colors remotely with one of these that I picked up from Superbrightleds.com
LDRF-RGB6-TC3 RGB Controller

This controller allows you to turn the lights on and off, dim and it has some built in presets. One nice little feature is the 'color wheel' you can pick any color you want.

Beautiful! Back when I did all the new lighting in mind I kicked around RGB lighting and decided against it. I have regretted it since.

Whatever mood you're in you can pick your color. Now somebody needs to come out with an RGB underwater light. FYI...anybody that decides to go RGB get your controller first and test out all of your RGB strips before installing. I found some of the strips I got from Oznium were labeled wrong. When I turned the color wheel to yellow the color would be green or something. So I went thru each strip and cupholder lights to make sure I had red, green, blue and the positive wire marked properly.

You just wanted it so you could dial up pink on the wheel.

Shadowcaster is now making underwater rgb IIRC. Seems like jonyb did some on a customers boat.

Drew, you damn right.

Whats the matter with pink....lol

lets not even start this again. pink should have been one of the primary colors, right beside blue. I'm actually sitting at the keyboard enjoying a soda being chilled by a moomba/supra pink coozie.

nice stereo setup btw. like the wetsounds tower system..
