Geesh - what hit you? Trunk is toast, bumper looks barely touched.

Coulda pulled the "ah! ah! my neck!" - get the boat paid off.

Yeah the bumper is actually toast, all the foam and plastic self destructed as designed but the platsic shell snapped back into place pretty well after I kicked it around some. Yeah, while my neck does hurt I just can't buy into the unnecessary litigation thing... although a Supra 242 sure does like fun ;-)

It was a Mercury something or other, basically a older Ford Explorer. His frint end was bent a bit but he was leaking all manner of vital fluids outta his engine.

No one was hurt, I got roughed up some is all.

glad no one was hurt. sucks all the same. if they can't fix it, seems that you never come out on the positive side of getting an insurance replacement.

Yes you should get checked out if your hurting already. Will be worse in the morning. I am not into useless litigation but also don't want to be stuck with a chiropractor bill. You have 24hrs to get checked out post accident I believe.

I hear ya, but I'm not feeling any worse than after one of my many ill fated wakeboard landings ;-)

That's exactly what I am concerned about. If they won't repair it then I'll have to shop for a replacement with whatever the payout is. My car was low miles, very well maintained and paid off. I expect to get screwed. I'll either have to pony up the rest for a new car, use the payout to get into a new car with payments, or settle for some crap from Carmax that I can get with the payout...

Like others have said, very glad you are OK and it sucks about the car. Hope it all works out for the best.

I bet his deductible he has a cell phone. Years ago, you would very seldom see a rear ender unless the roads were icy or the driver was drunk.
