Now is not the time to get an Oz tower. Be patient, young grasshopper.

But, to answer your specific questions:

1) Can one person raise or lower tower: Yes, however this depends on how much you add with #3 and #4 below. It may get even easier in 2013.

2) Can the boat be towed with the tower down, (im thinking there delievered to dealer with the tower down when they load multiple boats on a transport trailer): Probably, but I wouldn't suggest it as the tower lowers into the cockpit and I'd be worried about it bouncing and striking somthing. I think from the factory they are covered with foam and the entire boat is shrinkwarp for transport.

3) speakers, can you fit more that 2 in the upper corners: You can certainly get more than 2 towers on the bar. Carolina Chris has a sweet setup on his tower. The tower is pre-drilled with 2 openings, but it looks like it would be simple to add more.

4) racks, is there room for more than one per side: Depends on where you want them. The factory ones come in fixed or swivel configuration. They are mounted on the main crossbar on the tower. I can see where you could add multiple sets of racks to the tube and skip the factory racks or maybe the factory fixed and a set on the tube. Or, this idea for surfboard storage: have 2 "pockets" sewn into/onto the top of the bimini canvas which runs over the tower. I think the tower will easily support the weight of 2 surfboards. You can get 2 more thinner surfboards in the racks plus 2 wakeboards.

5) with the tower down how much higher than the windshield is the tower-----*for the LSV boat only*: BOO! Let's get some Mojo measurements. Don't know the answer to this one, but will be at ATL Marine this afternoon. If they have a LSV on the lot, I'll ask to put the tower down & snap a pic for you.

Was I specific enough?

patients--what is that????

You've been on my lake-a LSV is plenty big for it and a MOJO would, as much as I would like, just be to big a boat for it.

true, but boy is it a expensive upgrade, possible budget issue.

Just asking a question here, but if the mojo is 22.5 ft long and would be just too big of a boat on your lake how big is the LSV? Is that a 21 ft model? (don't know all of the Moomba boat lines and specifics)

It's wider and a crap load heavier, technically speaking.

Our lake is fairly shallow-typical florida lakes, the Mojo is not much longer but drafts deeeper and sits a bunch taller on a trailer and that is a issue as I park my boat in a garage. And LSV has been the perfect size for my family and have no need to upsize at this time.

+1 on the v2 tower, very happy with it thus far. Very sturdy, no rattles, i really think it looks a lot better most notably the navigation light pole....but definitely understandable that the price difference may scare some away.
