200 hour service

Ok I am at 200 hours and want to know if I should take the boat into the shop to have the 200 hour service done or just do it myself? I have done my own work to date and everything runs great.

Do you do basic work on your own cars beyond oil changes? Tune ups, plugs, wires, brakes, etc.? If so I'd say get a checklist and go for it. A lot of it is safety inspection from what I understand but you'll need to know what to look for. Just document and keep receipts for future purposes of selling the boat.
