Wake Plate Gauge troublshooting

My wake plate gauge/indicator isn't working. The plate moves, and the gauge has power but it always reads zero. I'm going to send bennet an email, but wanted to see if anyone has any info. I know the sensor is in one of the rams, but not sure how to test it...

I had to replace my gauge last summer for the same reason. They have change the part number and integrated the external relay box into the new part. I don't have the part number with me, but any dealer can order the new gauge. It's an easy replacement.
