some may have seen this on Moomba Boats facebook page. The guy posting appears to have bought the boat used, so isn't clear on specs. He thought this was from a 750 in the rear and center but I haven't seen an LSV wave quite this long before. Looks awesome!

Yeah I commented on his post from FB. We have the same set up, only difference is my boat is a year newer and I have never had a wave that nice. Super looking but I wonder if he don't maybe have the 1100's

Looking closely at the pic, if the dude is sitting on the sundeck and dragging his foot in the water basically level with it I'd say he's got some serious weight in that thing!

He said 4 adults & 3 kids.

I think he has the 1,100 in there based of the pic kayjay just posted up.

Speaking of that, where's the pics of your Mojo loaded up with 1100's Drew? Been waiting.

I have some great gopro video from 2 wks ago, just haven't had time to edit it. My laptop sucks, so I have to steal time on wife or kid's and that's tough to come by.

Heading to the lake on Thursday for an extened, 6 day Memorial weekend! Will have plenty to post up then.

i'd say more than 750lbs in the rear.

I'd say you are correct. No way that wave is that long and clean with just a 750 and couple of peeps.

seriously?

Yeah...for some reason I'm having serious issues with what I have now....FRUSTRATING!!

In a couple weeks I'll be attending WWU (Wolfe Wakesurfing University) at Milledgeville...hopefully Professor Wolfe can learn me a thing or two because I obviously have no idea what I'm doin... :-\

I can get close but then have trouble staying in the "sweet spot" *insert that's what she said comment here*

Well if your not surfing by then you will be after the jam,

it looks like the jam is going to be big one this year and the one not to miss

Yeah we are going on vacation the week after the jam. We were going to leave on the Friday of the Jam but after some thought we are going to leave for Florida from Drew's after the Jam. That guy Drew even offered to let me store my boat there while we're gone so I don't have to bring it all the way back up to the Northside...what a guy huh?

*edit* isn't it about time he start the official event thread?? Slacker...

That is the kind of guy he is--offering to let you store your boat.

It is time for a official event thread so we stop the threadjack madness

Yeah, just leave the keys and a full tank of gas. He'll take good care of it for you.

Its a nice looking wave no doubt, im not sure i agree with more then 750s, though. On the Regular side the LSV makes a super clean wave really easy, it doesnt always have push nor is it always big.

Id say he prolly is running 750s with a 400 in front and the people like mentioned, sitting in the right places even.
I lean away from the 1100 because it makes the wave very steep, and the white wash crash will be much closer on a 1100 unless you run a lot of nose weight.

I have a feeling hes in a righ turn taking this pic, with the wake plat pretty close to flat <down>. I saw thsi because when you look at the boat wash trail behind him its not straight behind him, almost looks like he was going X direction then turned left and faded tot he right to bring that wave up.

In the LSV as you turn right the white wash will push way back behind you giving you a really long clean pocket but this only lasts during the turn.

I use this jerk to the right turn often when someone is falling out of there pocket, it can help them recover on there wave. I did this several times for Russ and Ryan when they were out with me so show you can still save a rider when they fall back a little to fare.

Wait- how frozen do your taste buds need to be before Labatt's starts tasting good?
