Here's the latest work on the Outback. Tower is solid, jury is still out until we're able to ride it though. I installed myself, besides having 2 helpers put it up once I had drilled and installed the rear mounts. Fishing the speaker and 360 wires was a pain!

Busy day, Brandon! Looks great but you should have installed that hot tub first so you had a place to relax after all the work on the boat. :)

With all the work you have put in, its doesn't look like a '00. Looks really good.

Looks great man! How did you bring the wires through the gel coat?

Thanks for all the comments guys, I'm pretty stoked with how it's turned out! Still have quite a few details to finish up, but I should have it back on the water within a couple weeks.

Drew, I wish! That hot tub is Michigan bound next weekend, bought it for our family lake cabin.

Outback98, I haven't tackled the wiring thru the hull yet. I'm going to look at it today, may try and run it thru some black hose rather than the cheapo plastic wire loom stuff. Will update with some pics once I figure it out

check out this nice little quick disconnect. I may go this route. It's a brand called Neutrik.

Outback98 - that is what I have and am currently replacing with a new one. They work pretty well and would have lasted several years I'm sure - just remember to unplug them before you fold the tower so you don't rip it apart...

I actually went with a 90-degree elbow plug this time around so the small run of wire will be up tight against the hull until it reaches the tower leg. I didn't like the way it stuck out before. No one else probably noticed it but me.

Looking good, Brandon. I ran wires inside black sprinkler hose on my 2000 then thru the gel coat. Don't have any pictures of it though. Good luck!

Those connectors look cool. Between my speaker wires and 360 wiring I've got 6 different connections, so that particular connector wouldn't fit for me. I bought some 3/8 ID black tubing from Home Depot to run my wires from the tower to hull. I got rained out yesterday, plan on finishing it up tonight. I'll take some pics and throw them up in the next couple of days, should look pretty clean.

Keehr22, where is the pic of the boat in your sig? I'd like to see it in the water!
