Joey, Have you checked with Anthony Cooper at Skiers Choice. He has gotten me everything I need for my 02 Outback.

Good luck.

Joey, Not that, but I have orderd many other things direct from Skiers Choice since my closest dealership is 125 miles away in Oklahoma City.

I added grab rails to the bow of my xlv and I got mine for the mc dealer in atl. I saw the the rails in the surpa 24ssv and thought I could easily add them to mine boat. I really like the 24" rails I bought because they are elipical is shape. What pisses me off is that I had to add them on my own. But after a call to the ship shape TV guy I had all the gouge I needed to do it with confidence. The mc bar is better looking than the supra's. The best part was that the bow is the same as the 24ssv and the under side was built up in the exact place I drilling the holes for the rails. If I could post pics I would let you see my handy work. The rails from mc were for a x-9, and x-30.

When you guys added these grab rails how did you get to the underside of the bow. I have a loose grab rail and want to tighten it. I looked under there and feel like I would need rubber arms to reach the bolt holding them in. Any suggestions. Thanks

XLVGG I feel for you. Take your time. I replaced all the grab handles on my 99 LS with stainless and all I can tell you is to get some deep sockets and extentions if you are going to put top rails on as well. They look great and work well when you are done. One tip I can remember is to use stepped up washers on the underside as well as some 1/2" pieces of plywood pre-drilled to accept the threaded studs. This helps to distribute the load while making certain the fasteners are tight.

Mine are all grungy looking but I too have had a real problem finding new ones. As far as loose one, they are brutal to get to, the angle is horrible. I have to pull my front seats off for recovering and that should make it a bit easier to reach up the gunwale.

Other than pulling the seats in front, I don't have any great ideas on how to lock those things down. Tell you one thing though, I'm replacing the nuts with locking wax ones when I have the seats off. I'm only doing this once.
