Anyone have one of these i can borrow, i will pay freight each way. one snap popped off on the way to the lake last week.

must have been a bad crimp.

Hey JM, I had the same issue with some of mine. I swung by a upholstery shop one day on the way to the water and they walked out to the boat and fixed it for me. They would not let me pay them, just asked that I remember them when I start needing a new cover.

Anyway you could do something similar?

Thanks, boat is in the lift. there is a marina within a mile of the lake house but they are not happy that i did not buy a larson.... maybe i will give it a try.

man, how can you be upset about that? larsen and moomba are not even in the same league.. one's a ski/fish bowrider, one's a true wakeboat...


if you can find an upholstry shop around, for a few $$, they will hook ya up. guy fixed the few I have with issues for $10 and only took 20 minutes..

found a local shop that has the tool.

you can also buy a snap kit at Home Depot that has the dies in it for about $4 that comes with a few sets of snaps. Just need a small hammer.

Academy sells snap kits. Also West Marine, Overton's all have them and not expensive. I have one. Worth it's weight in gold

I agrre with MNprancing just buy a cheep snap kit and i use a hammer when possible or a pair of adjustable waterpump pliers. Channel locks .
