Having fun despite the lice and powerturning Tige ahole.

Sweeeeeetttt!!! How is the water? It's blistering hot today.

**EDIT** Just read it only got up to 89 today. Felt hotter.
Just this am it said it was going to be 93-95 this weekend now it says 87 on Sunday. Smooooth 91 on Saturday though. I bet Lake Lanier is going to look and feel like being out in the middle of the ocean during a Cat3. SUCKS.

I need to just suck it up and switch lakes huh? Or at least tow the boat up to the North end by Erik.

new board?

Not for me. Yet.

LakeWakes showed up with a new grom for the girls. Weighs in at 3lb, 11oz, so super light and they rode it great! Younger one got around on 360's today and nearly rode them out.

Boat still being fixed, but got to enjoy water anyway at a cable park. It's the 7th system of its kind installed nationwide (according to their website, assuming 7th Sesitic 2.0) and 1st in the midwest (only cable park in Wisconsin) This was the first time trying cable and I must say, it was a lot of fun. However the future of this park isn't looking good, I guess this might be the last season it will be open due to lack of interest. Hope that doesn't happen and we are doing our part to give them some business. Here are a few pics.

Edit: According to the workers these systems only cost 32k, most of the cost apparently comes from digging a giant hole. Thinking I might just put one in my backyard someday :D

...Buy 1pm the lake was infected and you could barely fart without another boater being able to hear ya. I hate holiday weekends

I hear ya. My biggest problem is the yahoos at the ramps... I don't think a single person parked in the lines today, making the 1/2 full parking lot impossible for any more poeple to use :( At least on a lake with over 900 miles of shoreline it doesnt' get too crowded ;) Still gets rough though...

Nice, Ryan - rope less!
yeah, I just get kinda bored going straight though, so I start messing around and end up falling or loosing my wave . Lol.

I will need some time with a couple of you "experts" to help me dial in my ballast to set my wake. Having the GPS for a speedo today was a HUGE help. I've got the weight, I just need to figure out where to put it and not. I'm not happy at all with my surfwake, and with 2 1100's, a 650, and a 400, I should be able to get more than a "just rideable" wave...

Awesome usaski. Looks like 21mph leaves a nice ramp for ya. I admire your drive and continued efforts.
My wife has lost use of her left side due to cancer/tumor. It kills her to go on boat and not wakeboard. She fought hard 3 years ago and rode switch on wakeboard for 2 summers. Between last year of treatments and fracturing pelvis this year she is too weak to try.

Keep at it!

I think I'll have to show you what a wakeboard run looks like... I can do that to.. no flips or 3's, but surface slides,
180's, singe and double wake jumps.. and single and double wake 180's... And Im thinking of hitting the 5 foot ramp today. With the cam on my helmet.

Ashton snoozing as usual.

Cam surfing. He did really well on the new board, although it is definitley too big for him.

Rachel and I surfing. She's 6.

I took Gabe surfing, much harder to get up than the older ones. Lol. He's 2.5

Oh, Naomi is with me in the previous post, and she's 4.

Thanks! Grom?? On the lap is easy. Just lay on your back with feet on the board like normal. They lay on their back between your legs, with their feet on the board just like yours, and their arms wrapped around the TOPS of your legs. Just get up like normal.

No Gabe, the little guy that is too little for that, is another story. I just have him hold on really tight around my neck and as SOON as I"m up I grab him. I usually get up in a squatting position, and then stand up after having an arm around the littler ones. I do this same thing with them wakeboarding, usually starting around 6 months. I didn't take Ashton yet (the littlest guy) since he didn't really seem interested, as he's only 5 months, but he was REAL intersted in teh tube at the end of the day, so I'll likely take him next time we go out.

That is AWESOME! A little small of a lake for $339k, but still killer because of the privacy and having your very own private lake. It says it's a waterski lake, do they allow wakeboarding/wakesurfing or is that frowned upon?

Yep, thats it. Hamms Creek is where we put in or another 1/2 mile south of there is where the bridge is. How do you like the 100' cliffs. It is pretty down there isnt it. If you can get down there during the week M-F its unbelivable. Hope you had fun. Any fast boats down there still? Right there at the cliffs I had a buddy go by me at 105 mph it was pretty cool.

I'm not really the picture taking type, I always plan on taking a bunch of pictures of the boat and I always forget once the action starts. I know my girlfriend took some pics and video i'll see if she got any of the cliffs in there.

From 1998 Mastercraft Prostar 190 to 2011 Moomba Outback V. Much more room and so far we are loving it. Just picked it up in March this year. Thank you to Premier Boating in Michigan.14745
