Kidney Transplant

Finally got the wife to Vanderberg here in Nashville and signed up for a Transplant. Looks like a 3 to 5 year average wait. They won't test me to see if I am a match because I have heart disease. Don't know what difference that makes but I wanted to try. Birmingham Alabama is a 7 to 10 year wait so we came here. I hope now we can concentrate on some boat time I hope.

Wow, sorry to hear about that. I hope that she does not have to wait too long. My daughter had surgery at 4 mos old for a problem with her kidney, and she'll have another one next month in which she'll be 9 mos. old. It's trying on your emotions when your loved ones have health issues.

Well, got screwed today. Got called into work for a half a day so that took care of my boating day. Looking forward to next weekend.

Rumor has it, I might have to work Saturday. I need to rethink my career path. I need to work part time or something. Thanks for all the prayers. I think we will be alright. We just wait on the transplant list now. Will have to go back to Vanderbilt week after next for urologist. After that we wait. Water still a smidge cold anyway. Next few weeks it will be warm enough to hang out in.
