Freeze Warning in the Area

I decided to put the boat in early, and now there is a freeze warning for tonite. I tend to be on the paranoid side, so is there anything I should do easy in preperation?I have heard that putting a light bulb on in the engine compartment is an easy way to heat things up for one night. Any other suggestions?

You can toss a drop light in there, an old school light bulb not LED or florescent. Maybe a small AC heater. How low of temps and for what duration are you looking at? Where are you located?

The real concern is how cold is it supposed to get and how long is it supposed to get below 32?
If it's only going to be a light freeze for a few hours, I wouldn't go crazy with it. 1 or 2 shop lights in the engine compartment would be fine. If you're talking about a hard freeze for 8+ hours, I'd drain the block and put a heater in there.

Freeze wanring is 4-9 AM Thursday. Personally I wouldn't sweat it, but it wouldn't hurt to throw a drop light or two into the engine bay, cheap peace of mind.

It's not going to get near cold enough here to freeze the water in your boat tonight, if anything throw a work light in the engine compartment like everyone else said
