Yes and Yes. The problem with the boats is theres not enough front end weight to off set the back end weight. If you add 750s to the rear you will have a much harder time planeing off if no bow sac. You can do it but its a lot harder. Formyself and some others, if you ran 1100s in the rear you will never get the boat to plane out.

For the money, well i spent about 150 bucks total for my IBS bag and pumps. So yea it was worth it my surf wave is Huge, and my wake boarding wake aint bad eigher.

He is just rubbing it in. It is not a cheap upgrade. Use the 2 way y valve that wakemakes sells if you have reverisble pumps. The bag alone is 270. You can use the moomba discounts or wait for a group buy to save some money

I dont buy my bags new, i get the refurb bags from Wake Makers when ever i can. I havnt had any problems with them. I also got my bags 2 years ago so the prices were a bit cheaper. I got my pumps for 25 a peace, had the hose and connections extra from older upgrades.

Didn't see them on their site, went ahead and bought one anyway...and parts to refurb my ballast system. Thanks for the advice. Happy Easter.

What's the exact model (with link of possible) of the bag that any of you used? Do you know if it will fit an XLV? I don't see how one bag can fit under the seats up there, because the playpen seat supports run almost to the front wall.

ian , i went from the obv with the IBS
http://www.wakemakers.com/fly-high-integrated-bow-sac.html

To the larger center sac on the xlv

both should work , but less pumps (unless you use the y valve) on the center locker bag under the playpen. its 530 lbs heavier and 26 inches longer up into the bow.

should have full pics this weekend i will post

Thanks, but I already have the large center sac for my XLV. The thing is, I want a bow ballast in addition to this. It's too light in the bow if there is much ballast in the rear lockers or if too many people want to be in the interior. Balance is currently only achieved by putting a couple of adults in the bow. I'd like to have ballast when there aren't enough friends. :-)

I get the impression that I'll have to use one or two smaller sacs under the bow's side seats.

You have the 1180 in the locker. The new 12 xlv could fit the ibs , but I don't believe I need it.
