Indmar 5.7 Serial number location

Where on the block can you find the serial number for the engine? My insurance copy won\'t just take the boat serial number and the engine hp....now I can\'t find the stinking number. What does the number look like...how many characters should I be looking for, is it all numbers, letters, etc.

Thank-you very much for your help...want to start learning how to wakeboard...

If I am not mistaken, my 05 Mobius LSV Serial # is a 6 digit number. Mine is on the plate mounted directly in front of the engine. You may have to look in the manual and it will show you exactly where it is.

Also, check your title or paperwork. Some states lists boat and motor separately.
