Hey all,

New to the forum and new to the Moomba family.
In fact this is my first inboard boat.
We have had 2 previous boats, both runabouts that treated us well, but I have longed for an inboard and my wife caved last year and said "do it" !
We found a 2008 Outback with the 340 EXT CAT, red hull with black graphics and matching tandem trailer. No heat, but it does have the rear ballast and upgraded stereo so I am happy.
Look forward to any advice should I need some...and I am sure I will.
Can't wait for my first pull !

Congrats and welcome to the family (as dysfunctional as we may be).

Lots of good info and experience from these boards. An OB with a 340... I'll bet thats fun!

Thanks for the welcome.
I have to pick the boat up, but when I do then I will get a pic or two.
I have yet to drive it ( yes, bought it without water test as it is winterized and it was not going to last) but did my due diligence. And yes, I bet it will be fun to drive. :)

That ain't nice, petty. Be careful you don't welcome karma in the form of another drought to your door.

Welcome & congrats on the new ride AB!

Welcome to the nut house dude! As always it's great to see another AB person join the forum. We are just north of Red Deer about an hour and are on the water as MUCH as we can be. Matter of fact with the way this snow is melting I can almost see the lakes melting soon. That means dust off the dry suit, tell my girls to grab their coats and hates! WE'RE GOING SKIING!!!!!!
Hope to see you on the water dude!

No disrespect intended, or no wishes of a short season, for my Canadian friends. Was just making light of the short season you guys always talk about, my bad!
