Flow Rite on Fly High Ballast

Any ideas how to get these off. I switched my 400s out for 750s and want to use my 400s for either surfing or boarding. I need to put a plug in them, but they are so tight i can't get them off.

From the factory they are usually cemented in. It has been suggested that carefully applying heat to the threaded area helps in the removal.

Been there! Done that! works great...........just don't get too impatient. Really heat them up.
